Exploring Viking York and Anglo-Saxon England with Bernard Cornwell


The City of York comes to the fore once again in Bernard Cornwell’s new novel The Flame Bearer, the tenth book in the hugely popular The Last Kingdom series recently adapted by the BBC. The bestselling author will be coming to St Olave’s School to discuss the North of England’s rich history, and how his own local origins inspired the writing of this series.
